Google Maps Mobile Data Use If you have a GPS in the phone?
I do not want to burn my data plan, but I have GPS. T-use my data?
The GPS radio in your device is only used to track your location. Google Maps for Mobile then use this location for mapping. In order to update maps in real time, use the data, and data are available very intense. I also recommend getting an unlimited data plan (or a large data plan) if you are using the application much more.
