Help me choose between a Helio Ocean or a Blackberry Pearl T Mobile?

Both seem to have the same features, but although I know the BlackBerry Pearl is a popular phone with great features, I do not know anyone who has a shop and the Helio Ocean The oceans are only models. From my research Helio seems to have the cheapest plan for the greater good of it, but I fear that the phone (or any Helio what he calls his ads since last year said no called a phone) is not as good as the Blackberry Pearl.
